Who is who

• Molly — “a travelling merchant who shows up wherever you go” (official companion lore). Boltray’s Handbook Vol. 2: Destiny Exploration may summon Molly or the Mysterious Merchant to your Home; “prioritize high-discount items — but beware, some deals may not be what they seem!” The official FAQ also notes the Traveling Merchant appears with rare goods while you are offline.
• Mysterious Merchant — the cloaked figure “always shrouded in mist” from the Verdantglade lore post. Same rule: discounts only.
• Mysterious NPC (post-Chaos Invasion) — community (EOG Important Tips): appears at Home the day after Chaos Invasion ends and sells for Chaos Crystals. Buy only the Primal Forge and upgrade it all the way to Immortal; everything else is made obsolete by Cinder Ridge rewards. If you cannot afford it, save crystals, dismiss the NPC and exchange next cycle.

Practical checklist

1. Keep some Destiny Fruit for Destiny Exploration — it can roll a visiting merchant as well as a relic (Destiny Fruit guide).
2. Check the offer against the shop price before buying; the warning about deals is Boltray’s own.
3. For the Chaos Crystal shop: Primal Forge, nothing else.
